Traditional Sungudi Saree Care Instructions

• First Wash: We recommend dry cleaning or a gentle cold salt-water soak for the first wash to set natural dyes.
• Subsequent Washes: Gentle hand wash in cold water using a mild, non-bleach detergent. Do not wring or scrub vigorously.
• Drying: Always shade dry the saree to preserve rich vibrant colors and gold zari luster. Avoid direct harsh sunlight.
• Ironing: Medium heat iron on the reverse side of the saree. For zari borders, iron over a thin cotton cloth.
• Storage: Store wrapped in a breathable muslin or soft cotton cloth in a cool, dry wardrobe.
